Blum, President and Chief Executive Officer, is scheduled to present a corporate update at the 27th Annual JPMorgan Healthcare Conference on Thursday, January 15, 2009 at 12:30 p.m. Pacific Time in the California East Room at The Westin St. Francis Hotel in San Francisco, California.

Cytokinetics is a biopharmaceutical company focused on the discovery, development and commercialization of novel small molecule drugs that may address areas of significant unmet clinical needs. Cytokinetics' cardiovascular disease program is focused to cardiac myosin, a motor protein essential to cardiac muscle contraction. In addition, Cytokinetics and GlaxoSmithKline are conducting research and development activities focused on GSK-923295, an inhibitor of centromere-associated protein E (CENP-E) for the potential treatment of cancer.
